Mark will share personal thoughts about citizenship, the city of Charlotte, and the values and actions that inform a good life. He will draw on history, literature, philosophy and the arts for the audience to consider what it means to live active and meaningful lives in community.
Mark is a professor of leadership at Johnson & Wales University who teaches courses on moral philosophy and living well. His courses include Creative Leadership, Global Ethics, The Good Life and How to Change the World.
