BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Steven Sabol is a Professor of History at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte (UNC Charlotte) in Charlotte, NC, specializing in Russian and Central Asian history, WWI, and nationalism, with affiliations in the College of Humanities & Earth and Social Sciences and the Honors College. He’s authored several books and articles on these topics, often commenting on current events such as the Ukraine war.
