Queens University: Dido and Aeneas Choir Concert
In 1689, near the end of his life, the great English composer Henry Purcell composed the tragic opera Dido and Aeneas, one of the most beloved English operas of all time, and the sacred ode Celestial Music did the Gods Inspire. Queens Choirs perform both works in collaboration with dancers and scenic designers.
