Speaker Date: April 9, 2021

The rapid growth of technology is leading to new materials, procedures, and systems that are transforming the way we design, build, and operate our physical infrastructure.  Similar technological advances allow us to anticipate societal and natural demands on our infrastructure.

Our challenge, as a growing, complex nation, is to use these abilities to design and construct large-impact solutions efficiently and economically.

During this presentation, we will discuss U.S. infrastructure with attention to four “P’s”: prompts, policies, problems, and possibilities.
