Bobbie Cavner is currently an Advanced Placement Literature teacher and English Department Chair at South Point High School in Gaston County where he has taught for the past 13 years.  ​

In 2011 he earned a Master of Arts in English from The University of North Carolina at Charlotte, wherein his focus was English Renaissance Literature.
