Kevin L. Patterson, a retired director at IBM, worked for them for 31 years in various technical, sales, management, and executive roles.
Mr. Patterson is very involved in numerous nonprofit organizations. Currently, he is vice chairman of the Charlotte Arts and Culture Advisory Board and the immediate past-chairman and board member of Jazz Arts Charlotte.

BIOGRAPHY
Mr. Patterson serves on the national board of directors as meetings and conventions chair for 100 Black Men of America, Inc. He has chaired numerous arts organizations including Arts & Science Council, ASC’s North East Advisory Council and the Public Arts Commission.
He also served in leadership roles at the McColl Center and the Gantt Center. Mr. Patterson has led other non-profits from the United Way of North Carolina, 100 Black Men of Greater Charlotte to Focus On Leadership. He is a former trustee of his church, Friendship Memorial Baptist Church.
Mr. Patterson has been recognized by numerous civic organizations including JA, Inroads, YMCA, Focus On Leadership, 100 Black Men of America and United Family Services. He was also named as one of the top 10 leaders in Charlotte by the Charlotte Observer and Charlotte Post.
Mr. Patterson is married to Charlene Price Patterson and has two grown children Charise and Craig and two grandchild Isabel and James.
