Senior Scholars is run 100% by its volunteers.
Currently there are over 80 active volunteers that keep the machine running in the background. However, we are always in need of new volunteers to join the team.
The skill sets used are varied and wide. As a retiree (or semi-retired, or soon to be retired) we can certainly find a use for yours.
Volunteer Needed:
Wildacres Committee Co-Chair
The NC mountains in the Spring are beautiful. Can you see yourself there? Can you see yourself co-chairing the committee to get 70+ Senior Scholars there?

Second Vice President
We are seeking a Second Vice President for 2025. This is the first step towards assuming the presidency of Senior Scholars in 2027. All members, recent and long-term, are welcome to apply for this important role. It is a great way to use your management skills and meet fellow Senior Scholars.
