Educated at Cornell\, University of Chicago and UNC Chapel Hill\, he is author of a history book about Charlotte\, Sorting Out the New South City\, as well as his new book Affordable Housing in Charlotte: What One City’s History Tells Us About America’s Pressing Problem.
