TOPIC: Charlotte’s McCrorey Heights

A Joint Presentation of Senior Scholars & Friendship Missionary Baptist Church

Join us as Dr. Tom Hanchett, a Charlotte Historian and Author, explores the fascinating story of McCrorey Heights, a tiny neighborhood in Charlotte that, since the 1940’s, has had enormous impact on the economy, religion, education, politics, government leadership, and civil rights in Charlotte, in the State, and even on the Federal level.

Event will be at the Friendship Missionary Baptist Conference Center and will be followed by a tour of the church. See the awe-inspiring 2,500 seat sanctuary, one of the most beautiful in the country.
