This whitelisting filter is being used on my gmail system:
See the Settings option: General Labels Inbox Accounts and Import Filters and Blocked Addresses Forwarding and POP/IMAP Add-ons Chat Advanced Offline Themes
Matches: from:(Senior Scholars) Do this: Star it, Never send it to Spam, Categorize as Personal
What to do if you haven't received a weekly email:
Check to see if the email is "hiding" in your email system: Select the "SPAM", "PROMOTION", "Everything" or "All" directory, if found mark it so that it can added to the inbox.
Immediate solution: Use the email archive below to pull down the desired email.
Fix for future emails: Add to your email's contacts: Senior Scholars with the email address: firstname.lastname@example.org
Structural check:Check with membership at the meeting that the email address on the directory is the one that is being checked on your device.
Whitelisting is the way to ensure that our emails are not blocked.
When the email is sent it normally goes to the member's inbox, however the email reader or spam software on the receiving computer could either place the message in the "SPAM", "JUNK", etc. or simply reject the message. Look through the "ALL", "SPAM" or "JUNK" directory to find the email.
Select the email and (check the help menu if necessary) instruct your system to accept email's from: "<email@example.com> via mail253.bms6.bmsend.com"
(The desired sender is <firstname.lastname@example.org> via mail253.bms6.bmsend.com )

When are emails sent and how many?
Weekly emails are sent as early as Monday or as late as Wednesday before the Friday meeting. Reminder: we do not meet the months of June, July, August and December.
Our software, Benchmarkemail, provides us the number sent and other statistics. We count each email address that appears on the current Senior Scholar 'directory', and reduces it by duplicates and those who have chosen to unsubscribe to determine how many emails should be sent. To this count we add the number of people who have used "Join our weekly email" option and on neither the current 'directory' nor the unsubscribe 'directory.' We reconcile the counts with the number sent to insure accuracy.
About Unsubscribing and Reversing the Unsubscribe Process:
Members may unsubscribe at any time to stop receiving emails. At the bottom of each email is an unsubscribe link to invoke the unsubscribe option. Once clicked and responded to, the system enters that email address on the list of unsubscribe addresses. The system never sends mail to "unsubscribes."
To reverse the unsubscribe process: email email@example.com from the email address used that is unsubscribed:
Subject: "Please remove me from the Master Unsubscibe List for seniorscholarsnc"
